STREET SWEEPING CONTINUES

The City of York reminds residents that street sweeping has resumed. All residents are reminded to follow posted parking restrictions. The City’s Ticket and Tow Initiative also continues this year. Vehicles will be ticketed and towed on posted streets as indicated: “TOW AWAY ZONE” and “NO PARKING, THIS SIDE,”  during specific days and times.

The City’s Ticket and Tow Initiative is an effort to maintain cleaner streets.
The fine for no parking is $25 and the charge for the tow will be $125. For questions about when a street is posted for no parking please call the Highway Bureau at 849-2320. If your vehicle is towed please call the York City Police Department at 849-2241.  The following is a list of streets affected by street sweeping and ticket and tow during  June 2009
and July 2009.
