Robert Lambert's Bio

Robert Lambert is the director of contractual services and business development for Martin Library, Inc. and has been with Martin Library for more than 10 years.

This position has given Mr. Lambert vast experience in contract writing, negotiation and oversight while also using Mr. Lambert's skills to expand the scope of Martin Library.

Mr. Lambert is a graduate of York College. He has a master's degree in information technology from the University of Pittsburgh, and he has a master's degree in public administration from Penn State University. Mr. Lambert concentrated his graduate studies in public budgeting and finance.

In recognition of Mr. Lambert's outstanding work at Penn State he was inducted into Pi Alpha Alpha, the National Honor Society for Public Administration. Prior to Mr. Lambert completing graduate school he served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps for six years.

Mr. Lambert is a dedicated citizen of the community. This dedication has led him to serve as
board president of the Crispus Attucks Youthbuild Charter School. Mr. Lambert also is an advisor to the Community Progress Council's Budget and Finance Committee. Mr. Lambert is a member of the Government Finance Officers Association, a professional association of state and local finance officers dedicated to the sound management of government financial resources. Finally, Mr. Lambert is a member of Rotary International.

On a personal front, Mr. Lambert is the proud parent of two boys. Both children attend York City schools.
