42nd Annual Olde York Street Fair

Applications for 2017 booth spaces are now available (please scroll down below and download the appropriate form based on your category). Please read all guidelines carefully.

The Olde York Street Fair is a Mother’s Day tradition in downtown York. The event takes place in and around Continental Square. This free event features more than 100 vendors of handmade arts and crafts, a Kid’s Fun Block with bounce houses, games, face painting, coloring pages, and other entertainment.

Food vendors will sell traditional American festival food as well as original creations. Fifty percent of all food vendor proceeds will go to support local non-profit organizations. Ticket sales in the Kid’s Fun Block will support York City Special Events.

The Olde York Street Fair will begin with remarks from Mayor Bracey and the singing of the National Anthem by a William Penn High School student.

Several stage areas near Continental Square will feature live entertainment in a variety of genres. Check back in the spring for a list of 2017 performers.

The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 11:30am-4pm in front of the York County Historical Society Museum, 250 East Market Street. To schedule an appointment, please call 1-800-RedCross or visit www.redcross.org. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments will take precedence. Visitors attempting to donate blood will receive a $10 gift certificate to Central Family Restaurant (while supplies last).

Thanks to a grant from the York County Community Foundation’s Embracing  Aging Initiative, there will be several rest areas with seating throughout the street fair.
