DESCRIPTION:KEEP YORK BEAUTIFUL SPRING CLEAN UP \nKeep York Beautiful invites the community to join together and sign up for the Keep York Beautiful Spring Clean Up on Saturday April 1\, 2017\, 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Community members interested in participating can pick up bags\, gloves\, and equipment at York City Hall parking lot\, 101 S. George Street\, York\, PA\, beginning at 7:30 a.m.  There will be a Rain date of Saturday April 8\, 2017\, 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. \nVolunteers will clean targeted areas from 8:00 – 10:45 a.m. Equipment is to be returned to 101 S. George Street\, 10:45-11:00 a.m. \nCommunity organizations\, businesses\, youth groups\, and families are all welcome to be a part of this great initiative designed to keep our community vibrant and beautiful. \nMayor Bracey encourages everyone to do their part in helping to keep the city of York looking its best. \nThis is a “Litter Only” Cleanup ~ NO LARGE ITEMS ~Curbside customers should call 843-1240 to get a scheduled date for collection of household furniture and appliance items. Collections are scheduled 7 – 10 days in advance.

Kim Bracey will be held on Tuesday\, April 25\, 2017\, Valencia Ballroom\, 142 North George Street at 7:00 pm.  The Mayor’s address will highlight the accomplishments of 2016 and share Mayor Bracey’s goals for an exciting and prosperous 2017.  York County Economic Alliance and York County Community Foundation are the event sponsors.\n\nThe York Awards will be presented during a reception at 6:00 pm prior to the Mayor’s Address at 7:00 pm.  Nominations are now being accepted for the York Unity Award\, York Entrepreneur Award\, York Leadership Award\, York Humanitarian Award\, York Public Arts Award and the YorkScape Award.  The nomination form is available at York City Hall and by clicking here.  Nominations are due Tuesday\, March 28th.\n\nAdmission to the reception is $10 and reservations are encouraged.  There is no charge to attend the Mayor’s State of the City Address.
