DESCRIPTION:York City Council will meet in special session on Monday\, December 4\, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in City Council Chambers\, 101 S. George St.\, York\, PA\, to introduce a Bill authorizing an Eighth Supplemental Lease to be dated on or about December 28\, 2017\, amending an original Lease of September 15\, 1987\, as supplemented\, under which the Sewer System owned by the York City Sewer Authority is leased to this City for operation and use; approving a Guaranty Agreement guaranteeing payment of said Authority’s Guaranteed Sewer Revenue Bonds\, Series of 2017; directing execution\, acknowledgement and delivery of an Eighth Supplemental Lease and Guaranty Agreement on behalf of this City and consenting to Assignment of the said Eighth Supplemental Lease by said Authority; approving the preparation of certain engineering reports and authorizing certain applications to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development and directing other necessary and proper action to effectuate the purposes hereof. The aggregate principal amount of said Bond shall not exceed $29\,985\,000. Council will meet again in special session on Friday\, December 8\, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. in City Council Chambers\, 101 S. George St.\, York\, PA\, to consider final passage of said Bill. This Bill may be examined in the City Clerk’s Office\, 101 S. George St.\, York\, PA\, weekdays from 9am-4pm or call 849-2246 with inquiries. Persons with disabilities may call 849-2244 if accommodations are needed to participate in the Council proceedings. SUMMARY:COMMUNITY FAMILY GAME NIGHT
DESCRIPTION:On Friday December 29\, 2017\, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Voni Grimes Gym\, 125 E. College Avenue\, York\, PA\, Mayor C. Kim Bracey will host Community Family Game Night\, which will feature the opportunity for youth and families to engage in the play of various Board Games\, as well as Chess\, to encourage quality family time\, while fostering key life skills and educational components.  Youth and families are encouraged to bring along their own board games to play.  The event will feature the opportunity to enjoy a free meal\, as well as a free board game to take home.  The event is free and open to the community \n“The invaluable life lessons that various board games exhibit\, as well as providing the opportunity for families and youth to engage in meaningful play\, while having fun\, is priceless\,” states Mayor Bracey. \nCity of York continues to accept donations of NEW Board games and Chess Games to provide the opportunity for youth and families to take them home after the event.  Donations can be taken to York City Hall\, 101 S. George Street\, York\, PA.
