Annual Events Contracted by the City of York
The City of York has contracted with Kint Productions, LLC to coordinate and execute special events.
The mission of the York City Recreation and Parks Bureau is to meet the recreation needs of York City residents by providing direction, planning, and coordination of services to enhance their quality of life through year-round leisure programs and facilities that will develop and enhance physical, emotional, mental and social well-being. For this reason, York City Recreation and Parks is proud to bring our community a variety of fun, free, large-scale community events each year. Dollars are raised from corporate donations and booth fees, so that no City tax dollars are used.
Kint Productions, LLC is proud to partner with the City of York to manage two of the community’s biggest celebrations in Continental Square this year.
On December 5, 2025, we will bring Light Up York Presented by WellSpan Health to life! An evening filled with holiday magic, festive vendors, community performances, and the highly anticipated tree-lighting ceremony. Our team will oversee all planning, logistics, vendor coordination, entertainment, and day-of event production to ensure a smooth and memorable kickoff to the season.
Then on December 31, 2025, we’ll return to Continental Square to produce the City of York’s New Year’s Eve celebration. From live entertainment and interactive experiences to the countdown traditions residents look forward to each year, Kint Productions, LLC will manage every detail needed to ring in 2026 with excitement and community pride.
