ARPA Interactive Summary
The City of York has launched a recovery plan that focuses on the following initiatives: Public Safety, Healthy Communities and Neighborhoods, Economic Impact, Identified Disparities, Healthcare and Broadband Infrastructure. These priorities were identified through a public survey and are aimed at addressing the needs of the community that were directly exacerbated during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The City has been awarded $35.3 million from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) to implement this plan.
The City of York is committed to maintaining transparency and accountability in its spending of the funds. To achieve this, the city will provide regular updates on the allocation and expenditure of these funds through its public and interactive dashboard. While the City of York continues to manage these funds according to the Treasury’s requirements, it will provide residents with real-time updates on the allocation and expenditure of these funds throughout the remainder of the program. This will help ensure funds are being used in a responsible and effective manner.
The below dashboard provides an interactive overview of the city’s ARPA spending plan. The information is separated into categorical and project-specific allocations, expenditures, and budgets. Visitors can access detailed information about each project by clicking on its name in the dashboard. This cost data will be updated monthly throughout the life of the ARPA SLFRF program, which will carry through until December 31st, 2026.
