In York City, there are two refuse districts. With some exceptions, roughly the City is divided in half along Market Street to form the two refuse districts.
Refuse Districts & Collection Crews
York City is divided into two refuse districts, split along Market Street. Each district is broken into multiple collection routes, covered by various crews.
Mondays & Tuesdays
- 5 trash crews
- 1 yard waste crew
Thursdays & Fridays
- 3–4 trash crews
- 4 recycling crews
