Keep York Beautiful Spring Clean Up

KEEP YORK BEAUTIFUL SPRING CLEAN UP

Keep York Beautiful invites the community to join together and sign up for the Keep York Beautiful Spring Clean Up on Saturday April 1, 2017, 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Community members interested in participating can pick up bags, gloves, and equipment at York City Hall parking lot, 101 S. George Street, York, PA, beginning at 7:30 a.m.  There will be a Rain date of Saturday April 8, 2017, 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.

Volunteers will clean targeted areas from 8:00 – 10:45 a.m. Equipment is to be returned to 101 S. George Street, 10:45-11:00 a.m.

Community organizations, businesses, youth groups, and families are all welcome to be a part of this great initiative designed to keep our community vibrant and beautiful.

Mayor Bracey encourages everyone to do their part in helping to keep the city of York looking its best.

This is a “Litter Only” Cleanup ~ NO LARGE ITEMS ~Curbside customers should call 843-1240 to get a scheduled date for collection of household furniture and appliance items. Collections are scheduled 7 – 10 days in advance.
