The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. in and around  Continental Square, with the parade leaving the York Expo Center at 5 p.m.
York Bike Night is held in conjunction with York Bike Week which runs Wednesday to Sunday. For details on Bike Week activities, please click here.

About

The Bike Night parade, sponsored by Stambaugh Law, will leave from the York Expo Center this year at 5 p.m. All makes and models are welcome to participate in the parade. Please enter the Expo Center using the Highland Avenue gate and follow directions to the staging area. Volunteers from the York County Harley-Davidson Owners Association will be there to assist you (please look for their red shirts).

There is no charge or pre-registration required to participate in the parade, and all makes and models are welcome.

The Bike Night street party (parade, live entertainment at multiple locations, food vendors, information displays, demos, and more) takes place in and around Continental Square in Downtown York City.

Be sure to visit the merchandise trailer at Continental Square for this year’s souvenir shirt, sponsored by Dale E. Anstine Personal Injury Attorneys, as well as this year’s collectible pin.

NEW for 2019: The Appell Center for the Performing Arts will be joining us in the Bike Night fun. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the release of EASY RIDER, the film will be shown in the Capitol Theatre at 7 p.m. Admission is FREE as part of the York Bike Night activities.

Planned exhibits for 2019 include:

  • Check out the new 2020 Harley-Davidson® models on display in Continental Square immediately following the parade, thanks to a partnership with 1st Capital Harley-Davidson.
  • JUMPSTART demo motorcycles
  • PennDOT’s Live Free Ride Alive tent will again be set up in the first block of South George Street.
  • A variety of merchandise and food vendors
  • and more!

Please pin our giant U.S. map at Continental Square so that we can see how many states are represented during York Bike Night.

Performers downtown include Dave Bray, Local Corn, Kurt Benit, Front Porch Rockers, and Shane Speal & The Snakes.

Lilya Kunce will sing the National Anthem at Continental Square at 5 p.m.

Michael Gorsegner of CBS21 will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.

Here is updated information on tours at the Harley-Davidson York Vehicle Operations plant during York Bike Week

—  Thursday & Friday tours will run from 9am until 2pm

—  Saturday tours will run from 10am until 2pm

—  Classic tours are free & will be led by our knowledgeable tour guides

—  Guests must wear low heel, fully-enclosed shoes and be 12 years or older

—  Space is limited so please make sure to arrive early before we reach maximum capacity

PLEASE NOTE: NO PETS PERMITTED WITHIN EVENT AREA

Please note that George Street from King to Philadelphia will be closing at 12 noon for setup of the Live Free Ride Alive display.

Parking restrictions will begin at 1 p.m. and the following streets will be restricted to motorcycle parking beginning 3 p.m. until the event concludes:

  • Market Street from Pershing to Queen
  • Beaver Street from King to Philadelphia

Cross streets will be closed for the duration of the parade, which begins at 5 p.m.

Parking in the first block of West Philadelphia Street will be reserved during Central Market hours for Market vendor parking.

Parking

  • Parking will be available on surrounding streets (meters in the business district are enforced until 3 p.m.).
  • FREE parking is available in the Philadelphia and King Street garages all day on Saturday.
