The following streets will have PARKING RESTRICTIONS in place for the meter move out by Columbia Gas.
Parking Restrictions for June 15-June 15, 2026. All parking restriction will be from 7am-5pm.
- 200 block of S. Queen St
- 300 block of S. Queen St.
- 400 block of S. Queen St.
- 1st block of E. College Ave.
- 400 block of W. Philadelphia St.
The following special events are scheduled for this weekend and will include associated street closures:
Wednesday June 10:
- Touch a Truck at Penn Park will close Lindberg Ave between College Ave and South St between 12:00pm and 4:00pm.
Friday June 12:
- St Mary’s Cultural Festival will close Court St between College Ave and Church Ave between 5:00pm and 9:00pm.
Saturday June 13:
- St Mary’s Cultural Festival will close Court St between College Ave and Church Ave between 12:00pm and 9:00pm.
- Stop the Violence at Penn Park will close Lindberg Ave between College Ave and South St between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
- Stop the Violence Parade will step off from 325 Mulberry St at 10:15am. It will travel south on Sherman St, west on Princess St, south on Beaver St to Penn Park and should conclude around 11:00am. A rolling roadblock will be used for this parade. Intermittent road closures and delays on the affected roads are expected. Motorists are asked to avoid the area, exercise patience, and use alternate routes to get around the procession
- Dining in the Street will close George St between Philadelphia St and North St between 3:00pm and 10:00pm.
Friday June 19:
- City of York Juneteenth Celebration at Campus Park between 1:00pm and 5:00pm. At 5:00pm, a walking procession will go north on Duke St, west on North St, north on George St to the Brooks Robinson Plaza entrance of Wellspan Park ahead of the York Revolution baseball game. A rolling roadblock will be used for this parade. Intermittent road closures and delays on the affected roads are expected. Motorists are asked to avoid the area, exercise patience, and use alternate routes to get around the procession.
- Juneteenth Celebration will close Mason Ave between Penn St and Hartley St between 5:00pm and 8:00pm.
Saturday June 20:
- Dining in the Street will close George St between Philadelphia St and North St between 3:00pm and 10:00pm.
The following streets will be CLOSED for Water Main replacement by The York Water Company.

- Delaware Avenue between N. Hawthorne Street and Baltimore Street Monday, June 15th – Friday, June 19th from 7:00am – 4:00pm.
- N. Hawthorne Street between Texas Avenue and Florida Avenue Monday, June 15th – Tuesday, June 16th from 7:00am – 4:00pm.
- Salem Avenue – S. Belvidere Avenue towards Grantley Street Monday, June 15th – Friday, June 19th from 7:00 – 4:00pm.
