Park Hours: 10 am to 1 pm

Park Locations: Albemarle, Allen, Bantz, James E. Gross, Penn, Renaissance
- Lunch will be served and DIY activities available on a first-come,
first- served basis. - Staff are at NO TIME responsible for the supervision of participants.
- Weekly drawings with prizes for participants who post their
DIY activity on the City of York’s Parks and Recreation
Facebook page (details at each site). - FREE passes to Graham Aquatic Center-YMCA and Roll R Way Family Skating Center..

Location: Kiwanis Lake (Pennsylvania Ave. & Parkway Blvd.)Registration will begin as early as 7 am.
This event will be held rain or shine.
City of York Parks & Recreation Bureau wishes to remind residents that the 22nd Annual William Shaffer Trout Fishing Derby will be held at Kiwanis Lake on Saturday, (DATE TBA) 8:00 am to 12 pm. The derby is for children ages 15 and under. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This is a FREE event.

ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT

WHAT: Annual Easter Egg Hunt
WHEN: 2021 DATE TBA
TIME: 1:00 to 4:00 pm
WHERE: Kiwanis Lake (North Newberry Street & Madison Avenue)
The Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Kiwanis Lake from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Children ages 0 through 13 can gather candy filled eggs, with the hopes of finding a prize egg. There will be free food, bounce house, face painting, petting zoo and a bike raffle.
Bring your basket or a container to collect the eggs.

Kiwanis Lake Summer Movie Series
2020 Summer Movie Series at Kiwanis Lake
WEDNESDAY MOVIE SERIES

Movie Time: 8:30 pm dusk
Another great lineup of family films are scheduled for the 2021 summer movie series held at Kiwanis Lake, North Newberry Street and Parkway Blvd. on Wednesday evenings beginning DATES TBA. Movies will start at dusk (8:30 pm).
The summer movie series is FREE to the public and the movies that have been selected are appropriate for families to enjoy. ES3 has partnered with the City to offer FREE light refreshments prior to the start of the movie. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket, your favorite snacks, and sit back, relax and enjoy the movie. Restrooms will be open for public use in Farquhar Park. Movies will not be shown during inclement weather. The rain date will be Thursdays, same time. For more information please call 854-1587.
