Free school supplies while they last. This is part of the Back 2 School Resource Fair and 5K Run/Walk which will take place on Saturday, August 12 at the William Penn Senior High School, 101 West College Avenue.
The Resource Fair begins at noon and runs until 3:00 pm. Enter through Door 33. In addition to the free school supplies, there will be community resources, free screenings, and information on wellness and fitness. Other attractions include a “kid zone,” free food, and music.
The 5K Run/Walk begins at 8:30 am in the West Princess Street parking lot. The cost to participate is $35 with t-shirt included.
The Back 2 School Resource Fair and 5K Run/Walk emphasize the whole person. Every family deserves the opportunity for their children to succeed educationally, be healthy, and be connected to resources. These are some of the most basic ways to ensure every child can grow into their best self.
