The dates of the City of York’s free summer movies in August and September have been changed. The new dates will be Friday, August 11th and Friday, September 8th.
Movies begin at dusk and take place in Cherry Lane. There will also be free art projects, free pizza, and more. Sponsors of the series include the City of York, City of York Parks and Recreation, Inch & Co., Sunrise Soap Co., Archetype Pizza, Curious Little Playhouse, York Arts, and Russy Sweet Treats.
The August 11th movie will be “The Super Mario Brothers Movie.” The September 8th movie will be “Strange World.”
A reminder that the free concert series is ongoing as well. Wednesday, August 9th is “Gospel Explosion” with Bill Walker and Family. Wednesday, September 13th is “Hip Hop Takeover” with Scarlet Rose, Brandt Kingsley, Coco Shantelle, Drizzle, DiCaprio, and more. Concerts begin at 7 pm and end at 8:30 pm in Cherry Lane.
The City invites its residents and visitors to attend these fun events. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket and simply enjoy what the York community has for you.
