Christmas tree collections by York City staff will take place city-wide from Monday, January 4th through Friday, January 15th. Trees must be placed at the regular pick-up point by 6 a.m. on your designated collection days.
REMOVE all ornaments, lights, tinsel & tree stands
DO NOT use tree bags
Trees that are placed for collection after the designated “final collection” will be collected by the City’s collection contractor as regular trash and will not be chipped for mulch. Each tree placed after January 15th will replace one bag of trash in the normal six-bag limit.
