City Hall to Remain Closed on Friday, August 7th

Due to the significant property damaged caused to the City of York’s Information Technology department on August 5th, York City Hall will remain closed on Friday, August 7th. We are actively working to assess and repair the damaged caused with the goal of restoring operations as soon as possible.

As of this press release all City of York landline phone numbers are offline. Additionally, a number of services on the City of York website are not operational. Individual email contacts and individual employee cell phones are functioning as normal.

All emergency and critical operations including the York City Police Department, York City Department of Fire/Rescue Services, and Wastewater Treatment Plant remain operational.

City employees will be contacted by their supervisor regarding work duties.
