In response to recent events, the York City Police Department with assistance from the York County Sheriff’s Department, the York City Public Works Department and the York City Permits, Planning and Zoning Department, will be conducting a “Clean Sweep” in the east end of the City on September 9 and 10, 2020.
This “Clean Sweep” will focus on a specific neighborhood concerns, addressing various issues including but not limited to; codes violations, quality of life concerns, parking issues, and abandoned vehicles.
The area of this detail will encompass the east end of the City, east of Sherman Street. Residents need only be aware that the detail is taking place, no further action is required.
