Due to aging technology and connectivity, the current credit card-enabled parking meters in the Downtown corridor will be discontinued by the end of 2022. The parking meters that are being discontinued will be replaced by an electronic parking meter that is very similar to those outside the downtown area.
Parking meters can still be paid by credit card, despite the change in parking meters. The Parkmobile parking application will serve as the primary option when using credit cards at the parking meters. Stickers on the parking meters and signage along the curb will provide the zone information needed to begin a parking session.
Parkmobile can be downloaded on Apple iOS or Android and will allow you to receive a notification when the paid parking session is ending.
