On Wednesday, November 8, a new four-way stop will go into effect at the intersection of Boundary Avenue and Spangler Lane/Edgar Street. The additional stop signs will improve safety for pedestrians walking to and from Hannah Penn Middle School or Memorial Park. Biker safety will also be improved along the new bike path extension of the Broad Street Greenway, an asphalt and concrete path which adjoins Hannah Penn.
The stop signs will be unveiled at 9:00 am on the 8th. Highway Superintendent Keith Gerber will be available for comment.
