How To Develop With The RDA — Redevelopment Authority to Host Information Session

Following its monthly board on November 20, 2019, staff and board members for the York City Redevelopment Authority will host an information session titled, “How to Develop with the RDA.” The workshop will begin at 4:45p.m. and will be held in Council Chambers on the first floor of City Hall at 101 S. George Street. Parking will be available in the visitor lot across from Santander Bank.

The goal of the workshop is to educate and inform the public of changes within the Authority, as well as offer insight into the proper process and procedures for developing projects with the RDA. There will be an opportunity to meet RDA staff and board members, ask questions and also reserve meeting times with the RDA Specialist to discuss specific project and development opportunities for RDA-owned parcels.

Staff Will Cover

  • How parcels are acquired by the RDA through the blight process
  • The proposal application process
  • Frequently asked questions
  • Priorities for land development with RDA-owned Parcels
  • The interactive map of RDA-owned parcels

There are currently more than 100 RDA-owned parcels of land available for development. For more information on the RDA visit the Boards, Commissions and Authorities.
