Download Press ReleaseThe City of York provides parking permits for residents that live on the designated blocks/streets during the York Fair, which runs from July 23rd to August 1st 2021.
In order to identify a resident’s vehicle, a permit system was developed. All resident’s living within the established area, wishing to park their vehicles on the street during the fair must have a permit properly displayed to avoid receiving a parking fine.There is a limit of three (3) permits for each household. Please bring proof of residency and registration cards for each vehicle needing a permit.
Permit is valid only within one block of the holders residence. Parking outside of your immediate area could result in a fine. Motorcycles WILL be issued a permit. Motorcycles SHOULD PARK ON THE STREET AND NOT THE SIDEWALK.
Street sweeping in the residential fair parking area will be suspended during the fair.
All normal parking laws remain in effect. The parking permit does not give you permission to park illegally.
Permits are available Tuesday, July 6, 2021 thru Sunday, August 1, 2021. Permits will be distributed from the Revenue Office in City Hall located at 101 South George Street weekdays from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from the Police Department (located at 50 West King Street) weekdays from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
FAIR PARKING PERMIT GUIDELINES
Permit parking is in effect 24 hours a day for the duration of the fair.
Parking Enforcement Officers will be on patrol during this time.
Permit must be displayed on the drivers side rear window so it is visible from the street. We ask that you tape the permit to the window.
Permit must remain with the vehicle it was issued to.The registration number on the permit must be the same as the license plate on the vehicle. Permits cannot be transferred from one vehicle to another. Permits must be properly displayed by midnight July 22, 2021 or the vehicle may be subject to a parking citation.

PERMISOS DE ESTACIONAMIENTO RESIDENCIAL PARA LA FERIA DE YORK DISPONIBLES
La ciudad de York proporciona permisos de estacionamiento para los residentes que viven en las cuadras / calles designadas durante la Feria de York, que se extiende desde el 23 de julio hasta el 1 de agosto de 2021.
Para identificar el vehículo de un residente, se desarrolló un sistema de permisos. Todos los residentes que vivan dentro del área establecida, que deseen estacionar sus vehículos en la calle durante la feria deben tener un permiso debidamente exhibido para evitar recibir una multa de estacionamiento. Hay un límite de tres (3) permisos para cada hogar. Por favor traiga comprobante de residencia y tarjetas de registro para cada vehículo que necesite un permiso.
El permiso es válido solo dentro de una cuadra de la residencia del titular. Estacionarse fuera de su área inmediata podría resultar en una multa. Se emitirá un permiso a las motocicletas. Las motocicletas DEBEN ESTACIONARSE EN LA CALLE Y NO EN LA ACERA.
El barrido de calles en el área de estacionamiento de la feria residencial se suspenderá durante la feria.
Todas las leyes de estacionamiento normales siguen vigentes. El permiso de estacionamiento no le da permiso para estacionarse ilegalmente.
Los permisos están disponibles desde el martes 6 de julio de 2021 hasta el domingo 1 de agosto de 2021. Los permisos se distribuirán en la Oficina de Ingresos en el Ayuntamiento ubicado en 101 South George Street los días de semana de 9:00 a.m. a 4:00 p.m. y del Departamento de Policía (ubicado en 50 West King Street) de lunes a viernes a partir de las 4:00 p.m. hasta las 10:00 p.m
PAUTAS PARA EL PERMISO DE ESTACIONAMIENTO
DE LA FERIA
El estacionamiento con permiso está vigente las 24 horas del día durante la feria.
Los Oficiales de Control de Estacionamiento estarán patrullando durante este tiempo.
El permiso debe mostrarse en la ventana trasera del lado del conductor para que sea visible desde la calle. Le pedimos que pegue con cinta adhesiva el permiso en la ventana.
El permiso debe permanecer con el vehículo para el que se emitió. El número de registro en el permiso debe ser el mismo que la placa del vehículo. Los permisos no se pueden transferir de un vehículo a otro. Los permisos deben mostrarse correctamente antes de la medianoche del 22 de julio de 2021 o el vehículo puede estar sujeto a una citación de estacionamiento.
Los residentes o no residentes que soliciten un permiso de visitante o que puedan tener otras preguntas deben comunicarse con Mary Shoff-Scott, asistente del administrador de estacionamiento al 717-849-2230.
