On Friday May 29th and Saturday May 30th from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., “Knowledge is Power Kickball Tournament” will occur at Noonan Field off Pennsylvania Ave. and Parkway Blvd. There will be no road closures, but motorists are encouraged to use caution due to increased pedestrian traffic in the area.
Monday, May 31st
On Monday, May 31st from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., “York Veterans Park Gold Star Memorial Day 5K” will occur at Veterans Memorial Stadium. There will be no road closures, but motorists are encouraged to use caution due to increased pedestrian traffic in the area including the parking lot of Veterans Memorial Park and Penn State York.
On Monday May 31st from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., “GWBC Block Blast” block party at 806 W. Princess St. will close Princess St. between Sheridan St. and Hawthorne St., and Hawthorne St. between Princess St. and Heiges St. Motorists are encouraged to use caution due to increased pedestrian traffic in the area, and to use College Ave. as an alternate route.
