First Friday will close the 1st block of N. Beaver Street between Market Street and Philadelphia Street from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Saturday April 3rd, 2021
The Annual William Shaeffer Trout Fishing Derby will happen at Kiwanis Lake from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. There will be no street closings, but motorists should use caution in the area due to increase pedestrian activity.
Immediately following the Fishing Derby, On Saturday April 3rd, 2021, the York City Easter Egg Drive Thru will happen at Kiwanis Lake from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Madison Avenue will be closed between Newberry Street and Penn Street during this event. Motorists can use Park Street on the south side of Farquhar Park, or Parkway Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue on the north side of Kiwanis Lake to get around the event.
Motorists are encouraged to exercise patience and use extra caution in these areas due to the number of participants attending these events.
