On Monday October 4, 2021, the City of York Department of Fire/Rescue Services will be promoting five members of its force and recognizing two members who retired. They will be sworn in by Mayor Michael Helfrich at 3:30 p.m. at City Hall (101 S George St. York, PA 17401) in Council Chambers.
Promotions
- Captain Fred DeSantis will be promoted to Assistant Chief.
- Lieutenant Anthony Caruso will be promoted to Captain.
- Lieutenant Kevin Westover will be promoted to Captain.
- Firefighter Randy Rauhauser will be promoted to Lieutenant.
- Firefighter Rolando Suarez will be promoted to Lieutenant.
