There is an upcoming heat wave, starting this Monday into Friday, June 23rd through the 27th. These specified days are forecasted with temperatures in the 90’s. Our trash collector may begin their collections 1 hour early, at 5 a.m., to avoid workers spending an extra hour in the searing heat and the possibility of heat exhaustion or heat stroke.
During the week mentioned, all City Contract collections by ESC Waste Service may begin as early as 5 a.m. Customers must place items out after 5 p.m. the night prior to collection and by 5 a.m. the day of collection. The hauler will not return to collect items placed out after 5 a.m.
