Due to the County of York replacing the HVAC cooling tower on the roof of the Judicial Center at 45 N. George Street, East Philadelphia Street will be closed from North Duke Street to North George Street from 5:00 AM Friday, January 23 through Sunday evening, January 25. A crane will be placed on East Philadelphia Street for this work.
Flagger Force will be responsible for traffic control during the closure. Traffic will be detoured from East Philadelphia Street to North Duke Street, then west on North Street to North George Street, and back to West Philadelphia Street.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area during this time and to plan alternate routes.
