On Friday May 24, 2019, the Fuel Their Fire Scholarship committee will be announcing and presenting the 1st annual winners of the Fuel Their Fire Scholarship.

The object of the Fuel Their Fire Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to individuals who have demonstrated scholastic ability, good moral character and qualities of leadership and who otherwise not be able to meet the financial obligations required to attend a learning institution that allows them to pursue their desired educational goals.
Scholarship 1
The First scholarship is being awarded to Honor ALL Fallen Fire Fighters of York County Pennsylvania and is awarded to a Career or Volunteer York County Fire Fighter or immediate family member in the amount of $2,000.
Scholarship 2
The Second scholarship is being awarded to a York County resident furthering their education in the Fire Service, Emergency Services, Nursing or Conservation. This scholarship is being awarded in memory of York City Fire Fighter Ivan Flanscha (Badge #46), who passed away in the Line of Duty on March 22, 2018 and shall be awarded in the amount of $2,000.46.
Scholarship 3
The Third scholarship is being awarded to a York County resident furthering their education in the Fire Service, Emergency Services, Nursing or Conservation. This scholarship is being awarded in memory of York City Fire Fighter Zachary Anthony (Badge #47), who passed away in the Line of Duty on March 22, 2018, and shall be awarded in the amount of $2,000.47.
