The annual tradition of the Halloween Parade in the City of York will take place on Sunday, October 26, 2025 starting at 2:00 pm. Traffic restrictions will be in effect from 7:00 am to the parade finish around 5:00 pm.
Specifically, the parade steps off from Gate 2 of the York Fairgrounds at Richland Ave and Madison Ave. The parade goes south on Richland Ave to Market St, then east on Market St to Broad St.
Road closures will impact all cross streets of the parade route including Madison Ave, Linden Ave, Carlisle Ave, Market St, Overbrook Ave, Dewey St, Richland Ave, Belvidere Ave, West St, Hartley St, Penn St, Newberry St, Pershing Ave, Beaver St, George St, Duke St, Queen St, Pine St and Broad St. Market St traffic will be affected between Overbrook Ave and Fulton St.
Vehicles that are parked along the parade route are subject to ticketing and towing.
Vehicles entering the City on Carlisle Ave that need to travel south of Market St are encouraged to use Highland Ave to King St.

- Temple guard steps off at 1:30 pm.
- Full parade steps off at 2:00 pm.
- The parade is expected to finish around 5:00 pm.
The parade route will remain closed until street sweeping is complete. As the parade route is cleaned, it will be incrementally opened.
Parking for the parade is available at the Philadelphia Street Garage and King Street Garage.
Motorists are encouraged to use Highland Ave, Princess St, Sherman St, and Philadelphia St to get around the parade route.
