The City of York Department of Fire/Rescue Services invites all to an open house at the newly-restored Laurel Rex Firehouse at 51 S Duke St. on First Friday, November 7, 6-8 pm. Greet the firefighters and visit the fire education trailer.
The City of York again wants to thank the Powdermill Foundation for its generous support of $225,000 towards the project. Other funds came from the federal American Rescue Plan Act ($750,000) and the state Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program ($1.5 million).
