A scheduled closure of West Philadelphia Street from North George Street to North Beaver Street during the weekend of January 5 to January 7, 2024 has been cancelled. Street parking in the affected area will be allowed, and access to the Philadelphia Street parking garage will remain open.
The now-cancelled closure was scheduled due to anticipated crane work at the Appell Center for the Performing Arts. The crane work has been cancelled in light of possible inclement weather. The crane work is now expected to take place sometime in the spring.
