The following events will take place and affect traffic in the City of York:
Friday June 6
- Street Rod Parade steps off at 12:00 pm from the York Fairgrounds Gate 4. It travels east on Market St through West York Borough and York City to Broad St. The parade turns north on Broad St to Philadelphia St. Street Rods will return to the Fairgrounds from there. Road closures along Market St and Broad St begin at 11:45 am. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area. Use Princess St, Philadelphia St, Sherman St and Highland Ave to get around the event.
- First Friday will close Beaver St between Philadelphia St and Market St from 3:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
- RSD Firefly Night Market will close King St between Duke St and Queen St between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
- St Mary’s Cultural Festival will close Court St between College Ave and Church Ave between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
Saturday June 7
- Stop the Violence Parade steps off at 10:30 am from York St and Hudson St. A rolling road closure will affect Sherman St, Princess St, Beaver St, College Ave and Lindberg Ave until the Parade ends at Penn Park.
