The following events will take place and affect traffic in the City of York:
Tuesday, January 6, 2026
- Street Milling will close North Street from Duke Street to Queen Street, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
- Street Milling will close Queen Street from East Philadelphia Street to Arch Street, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Wednesday, January 7, 2026
- Street Paving will close North Street from Duke Street to Queen Street, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
- Street Paving will close Queen Street from East Philadelphia Street to Arch Street, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Thursday November 27
- Turkey Trot will close Market St between Penn St and Newberry St, Newberry St between Market St and Philadelphia St, and King St between Newberry St and Pershing Ave. No Parking restrictions will also be in effect at those locations. The race route will affect traffic on Market St, George St, the southwest neighborhoods near York College, Penn Park, and Downtown. Motorists are encouraged to use Penn St and Queen St to get around the race route. Road closures will begin at 6:00 am. Roads should be open by 11:00 am.
