The following events will take place this weekend and affect traffic in the City of York:
Wednesday November 22
- 21 Turkey Salute will close Penn St between W Market St and W King St from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Thursday November 23
- The Turkey Trot 5K Walk/Run will close W Market St between Penn St and Newberry St for the start line and close W King St between Newberry St and Pershing Ave for the finish line between 6:00 am and 10:30 am. The route goes through downtown York involving Market St and George St, then in the southwest neighborhood involving Jackson St, Pershing Ave, and around Penn Park. Motorists should expect temporary closures and delays during the run. Please exercise caution and patience. Avoid the area if possible.
