Trash Collection Delays Due to Snowstorm

Residents are asked to please be patient as trash collection continues following the recent snowstorm. Our waste hauler is working hard and making every effort to reach all areas as quickly and safely as possible. However, due to weather conditions and road accessibility, some neighborhoods may experience delays, and trash may not be collected on the regularly scheduled day. If your trash is not picked up as expected, please leave your trash at the curb. The hauler will be returning to service all affected areas, and all missed collections are expected to be completed later this week.

Residents are also asked to clear snow from trash bags and containers, ensure bags are not frozen to the ground, and rebag any torn bags as needed. Dark-colored trash bags are easier for collectors to see against the snow. Please make a clear path to the designated pickup point and place items on top of or in front of snow piles not behind them. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping make this challenging job safer and more manageable for our collection crews. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation as crews work through these challenging conditions.

Thank you for your patience and support.
