On Monday, June 12th at 9:30 am, two new “Stop” signs will go into effect at the intersection of North Newberry Street and Madison Avenue adjacent to Ferguson Elementary School and Farquhar Park. The signs are being added to help increase safety around the School and Park.
These signs will create an all-way stop at the intersection, making it a safer area to cross to and from the School and Park. Mayor Michael Helfrich and city officials will be present at the intersection when the signs go into effect.
