The following events will take place this weekend and affect traffic in the City of York:
Friday, June 16
- George Street Dining will close North George Street between Philadelphia Street and North Street from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
- St Mary’s Cultural Festival will close Court Street between College Avenue and Church Avenue behind St. Mary’s Church at 309 South George Street from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Saturday, June 17
- George Street Dining will close North George Street between Philadelphia Street and North Street from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
- St Mary’s Cultural Festival will close Court Street between College Avenue and Church Avenue behind St Mary’s Church at 309 South George Street from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
- Puerto Rican Day Parade Is Canceled – Puerto Rican Day Festival at Penn Park from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm. PARKING VEHICLES IN PENN PARK IS NOT PERMITTED. Parking at St. Patrick Church Parking Lot is not permitted. Parking at William Penn Senior High School (on school property) is not permitted. Parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods and at City parking garages or at Parklane Plaza or Lot 11 (100 block East Princess Street) or Lot 9 (135 West Princess Street).
- Father’s Day Appreciation will close the alley behind 666 East Princess Street from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
