Pal’s Park, located near the Heritage Rail Trail, is closed until further notice due to unsafe conditions resulting from recent storms. The severe weather caused a telephone pole in the area to become compromised, creating a potential hazard for park visitors.
The Railroad and Met-Ed are actively working to safely remove the damaged pole and address the issue. Until this work is completed and the area is deemed safe, the park will remain closed to provide crews with full access to perform the necessary repairs and ensure the safety of the community.
Visitors are asked to avoid the park during this time and follow all posted signage and detour routes along the Rail Trail.
