Rev’s Flag Raising Ceremony in Recognition of Championship Win

Tomorrow, October 28, 1:30 pm, a York Revolution flag will be raised at City Hall, 101 S George St, and flown in recognition of the baseball team’s Atlantic League Championship win for 2025. All are invited to the celebration.

The York Revolution (the “Revs”) won this year’s Atlantic League Championship Series in a come from behind win against the Hight Point Rockers. The Revs are now the first franchise in Atlantic League history to secure more than one back-to-back championship.

The Revs have won a total of five Atlantic League championships, the second most in Atlantic League history. Team manager Rick Forney has the highest managerial winning percentage in Atlantic League history at .857.

The Rev’s flag is the first to be raised as part of the Raise Your Flag campaign that erected a total of three flagpoles in front of City Hall. The third pole typically will fly the City of York flag; however, the Mayor may by proclamation order a different flag to be flow to honor cultures, local sports teams, and heroes.
