York City Public Works crews will be removing snow in the downtown area on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. North George Street from King Street to Philadelphia Street will be closed to traffic.
Northbound traffic will be detoured from George Street onto East King Street, to Duke Street, to East Philadelphia Street and back to George Street.
Southbound traffic will be detoured from George Street onto West Philadelphia Street, to Pershing Avenue, to West King Street and back to George Street.
