The York City Police Department will hold a Promotion Ceremony on Thursday, March 2 at 1:00 pm. The ceremony will be held in Council Chambers on the first floor of City Hall at 101 S. George St. York, PA 17401. Mayor Helfrich will administer the oath of office.
The three police officers being promoted include Paul Dehart, who will be promoted from Detective to Detective First Class; Chris Batten, who will be promoted from Patrolman to Detective; and, Galen Detweiler, who also will be promoted from Patrolman to Detective.
