The following events will take place this weekend and affect traffic in the City of York:
Sunday October 29
- The York Halloween Parade will step off from the York Fairgrounds Gate 2 at 2:00 pm. It will go south on Richland Avenue to Market Street, then east on Market Street to Fulton Street. Ticketing and towing from the parade route will begin at 10:00 am. All vehicles need to be removed from the parade route along Richland Avenue and Market Street before 10:00 am. Road closures along the parade route and cross streets begin at 12:00 pm and will remain in effect until the parade concludes. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes, including Highland Avenue around the west end of the parade, and Sherman Street around the east end of the parade.
