The following streets will have parking restrictions in place for the meter move-out by Columbia Gas.
Parking restrictions will be in effect from July 27 through July 31, 2026. All parking restrictions will be from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- 100 block of S. Queen Street
- 300 block of S. Queen Street
- 500 block of S. Queen Street
- 400 block of W. Philadelphia Street
- 500 block of W. Philadelphia Street
- 400 block of N. Pershing Avenue
- 100 block of Jefferson Avenue
Parking may be affected throughout the week as crews work on curb and sidewalk repairs.
- Wayne Avenue between N. Sherman Street and Eberts Lane
- Eberts Lane between Wayne Avenue and E. Market Street
- N. Albemarle Street between Walnut Street and Wayne Avenue
- N. Albemarle Street between Wayne Avenue and E. Market Street
- S. Albemarle Street between E. Market Street and E. King Street
The following special events are scheduled and will include associated street closures:
Saturday, July 25:
- Dining in the Street will close George Street between Philadelphia Street and North Street from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 1:
- Dining in the Street will close George Street between Philadelphia Street and North Street from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Tuesday, August 4:
National Night Out will involve road closures from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the following locations:
- College Avenue between Queen Street and Pine Street
- Penn Street between Market Street and King Street
- Pine Street between Philadelphia Street and Walnut Street
- Cherry Lane between Philadelphia Street and Clarke Avenue
The following streets will be closed for water main replacement by The York Water Company.
Full Road Closures:
- S. Penn Street between Stone Avenue and Kings Mill Road from Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Columbia Avenue between Reinecke Place and E. King Street on Monday, July 27, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Columbia Avenue between E. Market Street and Reinecke Place on Tuesday, July 28, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- S. Pine Street between E. Market Street and E. King Street from Wednesday, July 29 through Friday, July 31, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Reinecke Place between S. Pine Street and Columbia Avenue from Tuesday, July 28 through Friday, July 31, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Columbia Avenue between Reinecke Place and E. King Street from Wednesday, July 29 through Thursday, July 30, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
