PUBLIC INVITED TO FORUMS ON CITY OF YORK’S COMPREHESIVE PLAN
(13 March 2023) York, PA — The City of York will be holding forums as part of the process of updating the City’s Comprehensive Plan. The public is encouraged to attend.
A Comprehensive Plan reflects how our citizens want York to look and function in the future, and provides the basis for achieving that vision. The Comprehensive Plan translates community values and vision into policies and regulations that direct the quality of growth, intensity and diversity of land use, transportation modes, street planning, public facilities and services, parks and recreation, and resource lands and critical areas.
The upcoming forums are as follows:
For the area of Industrial Park: Monday 3/13 at RAYAC 901 Smile Way, 1:00-2:30pm
For the area of Southend: Wednesday 3/15 at the Crispus Attucks Center 605 S Duke St, 6:00- 7:30pm
For the area of Springdale: Thursday 3/16 at St.Paul’s Church 25 W Springettsbury Ave, 6:00-7:30pm
For the area of Fireside: Tuesday 3/21 at Yorktown Community Center 1059 Kelly Dr, 6:00-7:30pm
For the area of Southwest: Wednesday 3/22 at TechRev, 301 West Market Street 6:00-7:30pm

PÚBLICO INVITADO A FOROS SOBRE EL PLAN INTEGRAL DE LA CIUDAD DE YORK
(13 de marzo de 2023) York, PA — La Ciudad de York llevará a cabo foros como parte del proceso de actualización del Plan Integral de la Ciudad. Se anima al público a asistir.
Un Plan Integral refleja cómo quieren nuestros ciudadanos que se vea y funcione York en el futuro, y proporciona la base para lograr esa visión. El Plan Integral traduce los valores y la visión de la comunidad en políticas y reglamentos que dirigen la calidad del crecimiento, la intensidad y la diversidad del uso de la tierra, los modos de transporte, la planificación de calles, las instalaciones y los servicios públicos, los parques y la recreación, y las tierras de recursos y las áreas críticas.
