The City of York will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, March 18th at 6:00 PM to receive testimony on the proposed Comprehensive Plan, York2044. The hearing will occur in the City Council’s chamber at City Hall, 101 S. George St., York, PA.
The York2044 Comprehensive Plan is a visionary roadmap designed to transform the City of York over the next two decades. It addresses critical areas such as property improvement, homelessness prevention, access to health services, food security, economic development, neighborhood cohesion, transportation, and environmental sustainability.
Following the public hearing, the City Council will convene a regular meeting at 6:30 PM to consider adopting the York2044 Comprehensive Plan.
Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to attend and provide input on this important document, which will guide the city’s future development. Written comments can also be submitted in advance to the City Planning Office at City Hall or via email to NGriffin@yorkcity.org.
