Final Curbside Collections of Yard Waste by the City’s hauler, Republic Services, will take place on Monday, December 14th in the Monday refuse area and on Tuesday, December 15th in the Tuesday refuse area.
Grass clippings are not part of the yard waste program. Grass should either be left on the lawn or bagged with the normal trash limit. Do not mix grass with yard waste.
Yard waste must be properly prepared for curbside collection in one of these ways:
- Place in authorized yellow yard waste cans (Max. 40 pounds)
- Place in biodegradable paper yard waste bags only (Do not use any plastic bags.)
- Bundle branches (Max. branch 4” diameter; Max. bundle 3′ length and 40 pounds)
Yellow Yard Waste Cans and Biodegradable Paper Yard Waste Bags will not be available for purchase during the winter season.
During the off-season, mid-December through the end of February, yard waste is to be prepared and placed as normal trash and will count in the normal can/bag limit. The curbside yard waste program will resume March 1, 2020, weather permitting.
