York City Community Coordinators would like to bring awareness of the many challenges individuals experiencing homelessness endures. We are preparing to conduct a homeless awareness walk on November 22, 2019, within the Market Street corridor starting at the intersection of S. Penn and W. Market to N. Queen and E. Market Streets, starting at 7:30 p.m.
Volunteers will set up a station at the intersection of S. Pershing and W. Market Streets to serve warm beverages and distribute information about free Thanksgiving dinners being served within the city. We are asking for volunteers, sponsorships, and items to be donated for distribution.
