October First Friday, in the 1st block S. Beaver St., from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Beaver St. will be closed between Market St. and King St.
October First Friday, in the 1st block N. Beaver St., from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Beaver St. will be closed between Market St. and Philadelphia St.
Saturday October 2
York XL EPIC Market, in the 100 block N. Broad St., from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Broad St. will be closed between Philadelphia St. and Walnut St. Broad St. northbound lane will be closed between Walnut St. and Wallace St.
Jesus Loves York Block Party, in the 100 block S. West St., from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. West St. will be closed between King St. and Princess St.
Central York Middle School Fife and Drum Muster and Parade. The parade will begin at 2:00 p.m. and should end around 3:00 p.m. The parade begins at the Colonial Courthouse at Market St. and Pershing Ave. and goes east on Market St. to George St., then north on George St. to the York Revolution Stadium, where they will have an event that is open to the public. This event ends with fireworks at around 8:00 p.m. Motorists are encouraged to use Newberry St., King St., and Queen St. to get around this event.
Due to the road closures, intermittent road closures, and expected pedestrian traffic at and around these events, motorists are asked to use extreme caution when driving through York City this weekend.
