The following events will take place and affect traffic in the City of York:
Friday May 1
- First Friday will close Beaver St between Market St and Philadelphia St between 3:00pm and 9:00pm.
- Logos Academy Block Party will close King St between Newberry St and Pershing Ave, and Dublin St between Mason Ave and Princess St.
Saturday May 2
- Dining in the Street will close George St between Philadelphia St and North St between 3:00pm and 10:00pm.
Sunday May 3
- York YMCA Marathon and Half Marathon will close Newberry St between Market St and Philadelphia St, plus Market St between Newberry St and Pershing Ave between 3:00am and 2:00pm.
Intermittent road closures will also happen on Newberry St between Market St and Princess St, and on Princess St between Newberry St and Pershing Ave.
Motorists should exercise caution in these areas, and at all Rail Trail crossings where runners will be crossing roadways with assistance from a traffic control company.
