The following events will take place this weekend and affect traffic in the City of York:
Friday August 25
- George Street Dining will close North George Street between Philadelphia Street and North Street from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
Saturday August 26
- George Street Dining will close North George Street between Philadelphia Street and North Street from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
- The Arc of York County Rail Trail 10-Miler; starts in Seven Valleys and ends in York City at West Princess Street, entirely on the Rail Trail. The Agricultural and Industrial Museum will be the cool-down area. Wright Traffic Control will be at Kings Mill Road and Jessop Place to get runners across the road. No Road Closures.
- Evangelical Community Outreach Block Party will close Ridge Avenue between Philadelphia Street and Wallace Street from Noon to 6:00 pm.
- Pennsylvania Cigar Box Festival will close the 300 block of West Market Street between Penn Street and Newberry Street from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
