Per the City of York Hazardous Conditions and Hazardous Driving Policy, the Mayor has declared that a Hazardous Driving Condition exists for today, Monday, February 3, 2025 due to icy conditions.
Due to the overnight snow and hazardous driving conditions, the City of York announces to curbside customers that there be NO curbside collections today, Monday, January 20th. This affects collections Tuesday through Friday.
Due to unsafe weather conditions on Saturday, January 11, Republic Services suspended their garbage pickup services in York City. Double collection for Tuesday/Friday customers will occur on Tuesday, January 14 to make up for the cancellation. Any additional bags may be placed next to curbside garbage carts.
